- C'è già un cast per "They Cage the Animals at Night" ?
No, non abbiamo ancora iniziato il casting.

- Che ne pensi della situazione attuale di Michael Jackson ?
Sono un buon amico di Michael da molti anni ormai, ho visto come vive e com'è con i suoi figli e i visitatori del ranch (neverland ndr.), io credo nell'innocenza di Michael al 100%. Michael ama la gente in modo emozionale, non "psichico". E' una persona vera, si preoccupa per la gente e non è un ipocrita. La maggior parte della società non riesce a capire questo. Michael usa il suo potere per aiutare veramente la gente che ne ha bisogno.

- Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri ?
Spero di realizzare "Miss Castaway & the Island Girls" a breve. Nel film Michael Jackson interpreta l'agente MJ e ha fatto un ottimo lavoro. Il film sarà presto disponibile in dvd sul sito ufficiale http://www.MissCastaway.com. C'è inoltre un'ottima possibilità che il film venga distribuito al cinema in italia (riferito in una pre-intervista fatta qualche ora prima ndr.)

- Sai già quando "They Cage the Animals at Night" uscirà al cinema ?
Al momento è ancora troppo presto per saperlo.

- Fra quelli che hai diretto qual'è il tuo film preferito ?
E' "Undercover Angel" con Yasmine Bleeth e James Earl Jones. E' un buon film per la famiglia e ha ricevuto eccellenti recensioni. "Miss Castaway" è il mio secondo film preferito!

- Ti inspiri a un regista in particolare ?
Ho sempre ammirato Steven Spielberg, lui si che sa come fare un film!

- Qual'è il tuo cast ideale ?
Un giorno mi piacerebbe lavorare con Dustin Hoffman, ho avuto la fortuna di dirigere un video di Barbra Streisand (Hands Across America), e ovviamente dirigere Michael Jackson è stato grande.

- "They Cage the Animals at Night" è tratto da un bellissimo libro, quali sono le tue aspettative per il film ?
Michael e io abbiamo alte aspettative per il film. E' una vera storia da film e farà vedere alla gente la realtà che ha dovuto affrontare una persona mentre si spostava di orfanotrofio in orfanotrofio.

- In "They Cage the Animals at Night" Michael farà parte del cast o si occuperà solo di dirigere il film con te ?
Michael e io lo stimo co-producendo e co-dirigendo, ho scritto la sceneggiatura, basata sul libro, ma Michael e io ci siamo seduti (nel senso che l'hanno rivista ndr) e abbiamo discusso in modo dettagliato sul come rendere la storia la migliore possibile. Michael stà anche scrivendo la musica per il film, per i titoli d'apertura e per le scene.

- Avete già una casa di distribuzione per "They Cage the Animals at Night" ?
No. Hollywood è un posto molto difficile per trovare un distributore. A meno che gli Studios non finanziono e producano essi stessi il film, non sono molto disponibili a visionare e acquisire altri lavori. Vanno ai festival per trovare film interesanti, ma preferiscono scoprirseli da soli, diventano diffidenti se è invece un regista che offre loro direttamente la pellicola, abbiamo avuto lo stesso problema con "Miss Castaway".

- Can you tell us more about the cast of They Cage the Animals at Night?

We haven't begun casting yet.

- What do you think about Michael Jackson´s actual situation ?

Being good friends with Michael for many years now, and seeing his
personal home life and how he is with his own children and visitors to
the ranch, I believe Michael is 100% innconcent. Michael loves people
emotionally -- not physically. He is one of the true human beings who
truly cares about other people and is not a hypocrite. Most of society
can not understand this. Michael uses his power of fame to really help
people in need.

- Have you got any new project for the future ?

We are hoping to release "Miss Castaway & the Island Girls" shortly.
Michael Jackson plays Agent MJ in the film and he does a great job in
the film. The film will be available on DVD from the official website
soon. http://www.MissCastaway.com

> - Can you tell us, if you know, when They Cage the Animals at Night will come out on cinemas?

It's too early to tell at this time.

- What's your favourite movie, directed by yourself ?

My favorite movie that I directed so far is, "Undercover Angel." It
stars Yasmine Bleeth and James Earl Jones. It's a feel-good family
movie that is very uplifting and it's received excellent reviews.
"Miss Castaway" is my second favorite movie!

- Do you inspire to a particular director ?

I have always admired Steven Speilberg. He knows how to make a movie!

- What's you ideal cast?

I would like to work with Dustin Hoffman one day. I have been
fortunate to direct Barbra Streisand in a music video (Hands Across
America), and of course directing Michael Jackson was great.

> - They Cage the Animals at Night is taken by a beautiful book . What are your expectations for the movie?

Michael and I have high expectations for the movie. It's a very moving
story and it will let people see the reality of what one individual had
to deal with while moving from orphanage to orphanage.

> - In They Cage the Animals at Night Michael will be part of the cast or will he only take part in direction with you?

Michael and I will be co-producing and co-directing. I wrote the
screenplay, based on the book, but Michael and I have sat down and had
detailed discussions on how to make the script the best it can be.
Michael has contributed many ideas to making the story better. Michael
is also writing music for the movie as well (for the opening titles and
montage scenes).

> - Do you have a "distribution home" (major) for They Cage the Animals at Night yet ?

No. Hollywood is a very difficult place to find a distributor. Unless
the studios finance and distribute the film themselves, they are not
open to seeing productions to pick up. They do go to film festivals
and find films to distributors, but they like to "discover" them on
their own. They are less likely to pick up a film if the filmmaker
approaches them. We are having this problem with "Miss Castaway."
